Stretch between Sohna-Dausa of Delhi Mumbai Expressway is open for public from 12th February 2023. Inaugurated by Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 04th February 2023.

The Delhi-Mumbai expressway will be India's first high-speed highway. High speed means it will be faster than other highways, which means it will be safer and more efficient. It also means that the expressway can handle a lot more traffic at one time, which would allow for lower maintenance costs and greater profits for companies that use the road regularly.

The Delhi Mumbai expressway is a new highway that has been built from Delhi to Mumbai. The expressway will pass through Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Maharashtra and will be India’s first high-speed highway. 1350 km long India’s pride highway is 8 lanes wide and planned to expandable up to 12 lanes.

Delhi Mumbai expressway inaugurated on 12 February 2023 by honourable prime minister of India Mr. Narendra Modi. The inauguration was for first phase of the high-speed Delhi Mumbai expressway.
Delhi Mumbai expressway bridges
The Delhi Mumbai expressway is being constructed in four packages, which includes several major bridges. The first package of the expressway includes several major bridges, including the longest bridge on this route in India, spanning over 1.4 km. The expressway has unique India’s first animal bridge and 8 lane steel Narmada bridge.
Delhi Mumbai expressway route
The expressway, which is being constructed in four packages, will pass through Haryana and Rajasthan. It will also pass through the states of Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Maharashtra.
The second package will be constructed after completion of all civil works related to the first package. The second package includes two major bridges, one at Thane Creek and another at Airoli Bridge (both on Thane Creek).

Delhi Mumbai Expressway speed limit
Maximum speed limit for Car and other Light Motor Vehicle’s is 120 kmph and speed limit for Trucks and Buses is 80 kmph.
Delhi Mumbai Expressway travel time
The expressway will reduce the travel time between Mumbai and Delhi from 24 hours to 12 hours, with a maximum speed limit of 120 kmph.

Current toll price for car and other light motor vehicles is between Rs. 90 to Rs. 395 covering 19.8 km till Khalilpur and up to Bhandarej toll plaza, which is 181km away from Khalilpur.
